Company Description:

Owned and operated by Rachel Mowery, in the countryside of Rockwell, NC, is a small goat farm that is the heart of Rustic Edge Soaps. Rustic Edge Soaps is a small skin care product company born out of love. I am the proud mother and home school teacher of 2 children.
When my first child was born, we soon realized he had an allergy to cow milk. In a search for a safe alternative for him, I discovered the benefits of goat milk for his digestion and purchased my first Nubian dairy goat. Goat milk soon resolved his problems and as a result, many more goats joined the farm.
Once my children no longer needed a strictly goat milk diet, I found a use for the excess milk I had by making goat milk soaps. I enjoyed the process of making soap and found that I preferred the quality of my own soaps to the brands found in stores. I began to perfect the recipe and shared my products with friends and family. It didn’t take long to realize I had something unique and soon, Rustic Edge Soaps was born.
What started out as a solution to my son’s allergy is now a company that has come to offer natural soaps, lotions, lip balm, shampoo bars, scrubs, beard oils, and so much more. Wrapped in both a love for my family and my love of animals, Rustic Edge Soaps, strives every day to provide natural products that are handcrafted with the best quality.
